Karen Balumbu-Bennett

Karen Balumbu-Bennett is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, distinguished speaker, and author with over 15 years of experience providing psychotherapy in various mental health settings. Currently, Karen serves as a school-based therapist and operates a thriving private practice, where she specializes in women’s and maternal mental health. As a therapist and passionate speaker, Karen has been able to help many make the transition from being bystanders in their lives, to intentionally prioritizing their holistic wellbeing. Karen is also an advocate for those facing fertility challenges, leading her to create a self-help guided journal intended to support individuals who find themselves struggling with the unique emotional rollercoaster that can accompany infertility.
Karen believes that through active self-discovery and developing habits that encourage and support self-love, healing and inner peace are more sustainable. She lives by the motto "balance over everything," which is a reminder that when aspects of life are in the correct proportion, overall wellness is more achievable.
